The crypto space often moves at a rapid pace and we have looked hard at our guild model for it’s short, medium and long term sustainability within the context of the metaverse and global developments.
As such we will be moving away from our contractor based ‘scholarship’ model to a dual member model: Legion (internal) and Auxilia (external).
Legion members will be the first phase and consist of part-time and full-time employees of our *drum roll* Georgia subsidiary (subj to final legal review, why Georgia? See below) — with more countries being considered in future.
Auxilia members will come later and allow outside persons to join the guild. We envisage they will join with their own game account and assets. We are uncertain on how the economics/incentives of Auxilia members will work until we receive more clarity on game mechanics.
This dual model is intended to give us the ability to scale and maintain a wider community, whilst also optimising our defensive/offensive abilities in-game.
We expect guild ranks shall work across Legion and Auxilia in parallel or within an equivalent ranking system but may be reformed slightly.
Why Georgia?

- Good ties to the UK (where we’re incorporated)
- Business friendly environment (ranked 2nd out of 190 nation states for starting a business according to The World Bank ease of doing business rankings) with incentives to attract foreign investment
- Preferable labour laws that allow for the flexibility we’re looking for whilst maintaining workers rights
- Preferable labour market with many citizens speaking fluent english
- Geographically nestled between Europe and Asia etc..
As a result of this shift and until we get operations stable, our web platform development has been halted.
Lastly we appreciate a large part of the ‘scholarship’ community are based in the Philippines, in the future we hope they will (re)join us as Auxilia and we will look to explore working with local authorities to find a route to proper employment opportunities as Legion. We believe this kind of role and industry comes with unique attributes that should be carefully considered with local labour laws.

Foederati Pre-announcement
The Foederati is an alliance of sorts between guilds, with the general aim of mutual collaboration and support (starting with Axie Infinity). The main place of discussion shall be on the Fabigens discord with relevant members receiving a ‘Diplomat’ role. More will be defined in the future with expected stepping stones from MOUs to optional binding contracts etc. If you run a scholarship or guild, and wish to express interest, please message a member of the core team.
